Because of its remote vastness and huge skies, the Outer Hebrides can have the most dramatic and fast moving weather. This downpour over one of the islands, Barra, was intense, but the sunlight behind it made the outline of the hills look golden, in contrast to the thunderously dramatic clouds above.
