River’s Journey

An abstracted view of the Scottish Highlands as a river winds its way from mountainside to moorland, and overhead a torrent of rain is on its way.

Part of a small series of paintings inspired by Rannoch Moor near Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands, which can be transformed by a shift in light from a bleak landscape to one of jewel-like colour and interest.
